A controversial Big Brother star is returning to reality TV.
Bravo announced on Thursday that Aaryn Williams (formerly known as Aaryn Gries) will be joining the cast of their upcoming show Small Town Trouble: Texas, set to premiere next month.
“The secret is out,” Aaryn shared via Instagram on Thursday, sharing cast photos from the series. She will be joined by husband Nick Williams, whom she wed in May 2015. The couple, who shared their 11th wedding anniversary this year, are parents to four daughters: Skyla, 10, Adeline, 8, Reese, 7, and Kodi, 4.
Aaryn is no stranger to reality TV, having appeared on season 15 of Big Brother in 2013. She made headlines during her time on the CBS competition show for making homophobic and racist comments during her time in the house. Following her eviction from the game, Aaryn sat down with Big Brother host Julie Chen to address the controversy.
“Being Southern, it’s a stereotype and I have said some things that have been taken completely out of context and wrong and I do not mean to ever come off racist,” Aaryn said at the time. “That’s not me and I apologize to anyone that I’ve offended for that.”
CBS also addressed Aaryn’s controversial comments in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, noting that they “do not represent” the network. (Aaryn was also dropped by her modeling agency following the remarks.)

“Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 — and seeing every moment of their lives,” their statement read. “At times, the houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by several of the houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive.”
