Melania Trump warned Donald Trump "I'm gonna go" during what appeared to be a tense conversation, according to a lip reader.

The president was joined by his wife at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix event in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, August 23. As the pair watched the race, Melania was spotted leaning toward her husband and whispering in his ear.

Their seemingly tense conversation was caught on camera, with lip reader Nicola Hickling analyzing what they said. After whispering in President Trump's ear, Melania pulled back and seemed to say, "That is private and valuable text." Following the tense exchange, Melania was absent from a White House event.

According to Nicola, the president responded, "Was it enough?" Nicola told the Irish Star that Melania admitted, "I don't know," to which the president reportedly insisted, "Then I need to see it."

At that moment, the first lady seemed to say, "Donald, listen, I'm gonna go." According to Nicola, President Trump also told his wife, "Listen she asked you not to close the door."

Melania asked why, with her husband allegedly responding, "Its bad news, but its a bad timing Melania." According to Nicola, Melania responded, "That's crazy," before whispering in her husband's ear. President Trump seemed to reply, "I've had enough of her."

Melania once again leaned in and whispered in President Trump's ear. As she drew back, Nicola speculated she said, "Obviously I'll see and talk to her in the morning."

The apparently strained interaction between Melania and Donald Trump follows the first lady's month-long absence from the spotlight. Melania returned to the White House on Thursday, August 20, after spending 31 days out of public view.

Melania's disappearance coincided with questions being raised about President Trump's professional relationship with his executive assistant, Natalie Harp. The 35-year-old is often spotted alongside the president, with reports claiming she is "obsessed" with him.

A recent report alleged Natalie is so committed to President Trump she spent an entire summer living inside a locker room at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, to remain close to him. Reports have also indicated she leaves private notes for the president to discover, including one stating, "You are all that matters to me."

Natalie's own brother has even voiced worries about her connection with President Trump. Preston Harp appeared on CNN's OutFront on Tuesday, August 18, and indicated his sister is "obsessed" with the 80-year-old, stating, "It's actually kind of sad. That's obsession, that's like an unhealthy obsession with someone."

Preston was also questioned about what draws the president to his sister, to which he responded, "I think that Trump's best friends are people who are his fan club. And so she's his biggest fan. And so that's probably why he likes her.

"And she's good looking, she's got a good personality. I don't know. She thinks that he saved her life, so somebody living with that kind of gratitude, that must feel pretty good."
