A stunning new photograph of Prince William and Princess Kate has highlighted one striking difference when compared to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The Prince and Princess of Wales released an image of themselves in dazzling style ahead of a State Banquet held for the Sultan of Oman on Tuesday, October 20. The black-and-white portrait captures the couple in formal attire, with Kate wearing a tiara crown and William proudly displaying his medals.

Keen-eyed royal experts have determined the photo was taken at Frogmore House, a royal residence near Windsor Castle, where the banquet was held. Notably, William and Catherine also reside on the same estate, suggesting the couple made a deliberate detour from their home to pose for the photograph.

This was done in an effort to safeguard the privacy of their family home, Forest Lodge, according to Woman&Home. The couple have never revealed the interior of their private residence, preferring to maintain it as a sanctuary away from public scrutiny.

This approach stands in stark contrast to that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when it comes to offering fans a peek behind the curtain. Just a few weeks after the Sussexes returned to the UK following a six-year stint in Montecito, California, Meghan shared a video of the family settling into life at home, reports the Express.

The compilation, shared on Instagram on September 13, featured the family enjoying time in the countryside with their dog, along with Harry taking the children fishing from a boat on a pond. The footage begins with Meghan and Harry walking hand in hand, before the Duchess turns toward the camera and playfully calls out "come on, you".

One heartwarming moment appears to capture Lilibet riding her bike with a doll secured in the baby bike seat while Archie dashes past her, and another scene seemingly shows one of the children warming their feet beside the fireplace. A Union Flag emoji and a heart emoji appear overlaid across the collection of footage.

Meghan has previously posted videos of herself cooking alongside Lilibet as part of promoting her As Ever brand.

Although photographs and videos of William and Kate's children are regularly released, George, Charlotte, and Louis are generally shown at official Royal occasions, as opposed to private family moments at home. The notable contrast emerges as Harry revealed in an interview he wishes to reconcile with his family but noted 'some people don't want it to work out'.

Relations are believed to have become strained between Harry, Charles, and William, though a spokesperson for the Duke clarified the remark was general and 'absolutely not intended as a swipe' at his father or brother.
