Sydney Sweeney channelled Cindy Lou Who in SYRN plaid micro shorts in a new campaign for the brand. The “Anybody But You” star’s lingerie and loungewear brand is offering fans a chance to turn into characters from their favorite Christmas movies, but with a playful twist. In the new holiday campaign clip, she modelled pieces from the four soon-to-launch collections.

Sydney Sweeney is preparing for the holiday season in style, with new pieces from SYRN. For the second look in her newly dropped clip, her outfit channelled an unmistakable holiday charm, explicitly referencing Cindy Lou Who’s whimsical Whoville aesthetic while putting a modern, playful spin on classic festive attire. For those unversed, the character is from Dr. Seuss’s children’s Christmas book, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!”
The “Euphoria” star wore tailored plaid micro shorts cut from a crisp, light-toned fabric accented with delicate red and dark crisscross striping. The shorts sat high on her thighs as she balanced presents in her arms with a Christmas tree in the background. She paired the little bottoms with a plunging top. The fitted, corset-inspired bodice also featured the same coordinating grid pattern.

Sweeney completed the look with a white capelet draped across her shoulders. The capelet, trimmed with white faux fur along the neckline and perimeter, tied neatly at the neck. It provided a sharp contrast against the light pattern beneath while reinforcing the classic holiday color palette. Further, creamy white thigh-high stockings created a continuous line from the short hemline downward.
Even the 29-year-old’s hairstyle paid homage to Cindy Lou Who. She wore her golden blonde hair in a tall, conical topknot stacked high above the head. From the base of the updo, two rigid, loop-shaped braids extended outward before looping back inward toward the head. A large, structured ribbon bow with the same plaid pattern as her outfit sat on her head, adding to the whimsy.
