With Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce having recently spent a weekend doing activities that sounded an awful lot like bachelor and bachelorette weekends, speculation about an upcoming wedding has never been more intense. And with it comes speculation about what the bride might wear down the aisle. Might she opt for a designer who's made a Met Gala gown for her before, like Oscar de la Renta? A friend, such as Stella McCartney? Will she wear multiple gowns, as bridal design legend Vera Wang has suggested?
Though details about the upcoming nuptials have been kept tightly under wraps, we can look back at Swift's white gowns throughout history — whether it's an actual wedding dress worn in a music video or an elegant ruffled ivory column worn to an awards show — to see how her style has evolved over time. So knowing that she has probably picked out a white dress, it's a gown retrospective, baby, just say yes.

Let's start with the two actual wedding gowns she's worn, both in music video dream sequences. In the music video for "I Bet You Think About Me,"a vault track from her re-recorded Red album, Taylor Swift played a woman haunting her ex's thoughts at his wedding to another woman. The cloudlike Nicole + Felicia gown she wears for their imagined first dance turns red as she walks away and ends his reverie.

Of course, Swift has worn her share of elegant white gown on red carpets, as well. One of her first major events saw Swift in this angelic empire-waist gown, worn to pick up her trophy for Best New Female Vocalist.

Romantic ruffled J.Mendel with a curled updo and red lips was right up Swift's style alley at the start of her career.

Swift looked appropriately regal in Reem Acra to perform at a gala that raised money for Centrepoint, a U.K. mental health charity supported by Prince William — but she (and the royal) let loose at the end of the night to take the stage together and perform "Livin' on a Prayer."

An edgier haircut — a piecey bob and bangs! — was the perfect complement to an edgier cutout jumpsuit (which we think would look fab as a reception outfit).

This sleek, gold-inflected J. Mendel was a sexy departure from her more feminine, full-skirted looks on red carpets past.

The delicate white lace-trimmed gown and floral headpiece she wore in the "Willow" music video (off the Evermore album) could have launched a million "ethereal bridal vibes" Pinterest boards.

Tortured Poets Department's release also led to a new "era" for the tour, which included this Vivienne Westwood dress featuring the lyrics to "Who's Afraid to Little Old Me." You may recognize it as the dress she wears when her tuxedoed dancers (or on one memorable occasion, Kelce himself) pick her up and force her to change into her "I Can Do it With a Broken Heart" dance ensemble.
