The revamped U.S. Open mixed doubles tournament returns with a star-studded field that features some of the sport's biggest names, including Serena Williams, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Aryna Sabalenka, Jessica Pegula and Taylor Fritz.
Play begins Tuesday, Aug. 25, with first-round and quarterfinal matches scheduled throughout the day before the semifinals and championship match Wednesday night.
The tournament's condensed format has helped turn mixed doubles into a showcase event during Fan Week. Sixteen teams are competing for a $1 million championship prize, with marquee pairings and crossover star power drawing significant attention ahead of the start of the singles draws.
Among the most anticipated teams are top seeds Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic, while Serena Williams returns to the U.S. Open spotlight alongside defending men's singles champion Carlos Alcaraz.
